Content Creators
Streemie's block reward enables content creators to earn Streem (STRM) based on the performance of their videos. The mining algorithm is built into several components such as video views, likes, comments, shares, watch times and subscribers gained. As the calculations of the video performance begin, mining hashes are produced. The hash power then begins to create a block. Once we have a complete block, a reward is then distributed to the owner of the video.
If the content creator's video performs well receiving alot of engagement, they will earn mining rewards from that video until it matures and exhausts it's earning capabilities. How long that is will be determined by the mining difficulty and other mathematical equations.
The Viewership
As a viewer, your video interactions are important, and unlike other video sharing platforms you have the ability to earn through video mining just like our content creators. With every video you view, like, comment and share the more opportunities you have to earn from each block-reward created from our video mining hashes.
For every 1 block mined, the viewer will earn a percentage. To continue earning a portion from each block-reward the viewer will need to continue watching and engaging with fresh video content.
